There are many kinds of games in Akihabara’s game arcade, and today I’ve been addicted to crane machine game called “UFO catcher” in Japan.
This “UFO catcher” is to get prizes manipulating the button to control the claw. A lot of people give themselves over to this game for the prizes including the limited one. Recently some vendors specialize in creating prizes for only crane machines.
UFO catcher looks apparently simple, but actually it’s deep. It costs 100 yen to play one game, but there’s annoying system such we can play 5+1 games per 500 yen in most machines. And it’s so difficult that we can’t get a prize just for once.
What I tried to get was Shichibukai’s goods such as key case, CD case, etc., one of the “ONE PIECE” character, who is recognized by pirates. This time, I aimed at catching “Shichibukai Mini Backpack”! I had a craving for that, so put 500 yen and got 6 games!
Then, I could easily get it in my first game.
And with my first 500 yen, I got 3 prizes in all!! Wonderful!
“Today must be my lucky day! I could collect them all… Yes, I can!”
After that I put my 500 yen coin for 8 times, and eventually collected all 7 prizes for 4,500 yen! What a formidable magic Shichibukai has! So fascinating the UFO catcher is!
If you come across attractive prize of UFO catcher, it’s better to talk to clerk. Then the clerk would put the prize in a better position to catch it or teach you the ropes. There would be some arcades that its clerks don’t do that, but I think you should speak to them!
In my case, if I had talked to clerk, I could have got all 7 backpacks sooner. Being shy and shanty costs too much!
