Akiharabara Information 5 "Seiyuu no Tamago"

Hi everyone!

This time I walked around Akihabara with our staff.

It was too hot to take a walk for me, biggums, so I asked other members to get rest.
Then we dropped into a café “Seiyuu no Tamago”.

Many aspiring voice actors who want to be voice actor or who are at the beginning of their career work as waitress there, as its name suggests. So many girls who have pretty voice in this café! I heard some girl works as radio DJ!
Some of these girls could be voice actor who provides the voice for main character of popular anime in the future!

And also you can enjoy some dishes here.
One of them is “Tamagokake Gohan”, egg sauce over rice, also as the name of the café suggests.
This cafe is particular about “Tamagokake Gohan”. It is made of ukokkei’s egg, the highest-quality one, and you can choose from more than 20 types of soy sauce gathered from around Japan. The price is 800 yen but it’s worth eating! You may feel comfortable with the voice of waitresses looking at the sight that they make your dish.

Akiharabara Information 4 "Gundam Cafe"

Hi there!

There are many cafes in Akihabara, and this time I visited “Gundam Cafe” near Denki-gai exit of Akihabara station. This café has a concept of “Mobile Suit Gundam”, most famous robot animation. Its pretty staff wear Gundam costumes. This café is created to have even people other than Gundam fans enjoy.

And also there I found “1/144 Gunpra Yaki”, Akihabara’s speciality.

There are three basic flavors such as “Full Cream”, “Sweet Bean Paste made in Hokkaido”, “Bacon Mayonnaise”. In addition, now you can try summer-only “Spicy Curry Saucisse”. In the meantime, “Bacon Mayonnaise” isn’t sold.
The price is 190-200 yen.
I think it’s little expensive but tastes great!!
It’s worth while trying to eat!

Akiharabara Information 3 "Pachinko Parlor"

There are many kinds of stores in Akihabara, and today we would like to introduce one of them in which you can feel Japanese culture!

The store is… “Pachinko Parlor”!
Pachinko parlor is almost authorized gambling establishment crammed with pachinko machines. After putting 11mm steel balls into board having a lot of nails, if it enters By controlling a manual or electric-spring flipper, a player launches 11mm steel balls to the top of the pachinko panel. If a falling ball enters a target hole, numerals on LCD start to move like slot machine. If a pattern made up of only one kind of numeral appears, the player hits the jackpot and the machine dispenses many balls. The balls can be exchanged for prize. Since there’s no entrance fee, only dropping in pachinko parlor, you may enjoy!

Pachinko parlors in Akihabara are just a little bit different from those in other areas. There are baggage locker of Evangelion and life-size figure of its heroine at the entrance of “Pachinko/Slot Island Akihabara” located in the first basement and the first floor of Don Quijote Akihabara.
Some phrases spoofing scripts and alternative titles of Evangelion are written in white Minchotai on the black locker.

Hello everyone!
This is the 5th report of “Wonfes”.
Today we would like to introduce the booth of “MEDICOS”.

In this booth, movable gimmick of “Kinnikuman series” and “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series” made great impression. Both are very famous manga series in Japan.

Displayed figures were pretty cool!! Especially Baffaloman which will be released in October is expected to be sold out.

Figures of Nanoha Takamachi and Fate Testarossa of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha being attracted by a lot of visitors were incomplete and uncolored.

Akiharabara Information 2 "Chesse Curry Miso Ramen"

Hi everyone!

Today we would like to introduce Akihabara gourmet information!
This time a ramen shop “Misoya Yoroku” located in Akihabara Station.

I fell for the sign “Curry Miso Ramen” and decided to walk into the shop.

“Curry and Miso? Do they marry? Is it tasty?”

When entering the shop, I found more appealing menu “Cheese Curry Miso Ramen” on ticket machine.

“Hmm…is this dish good…?”
But I selected the “Cheese Curry Miso Ramen” since it’s too curious!

Looking at the kitchen with an uneasy look, a languid man looking like newcomer started to cook my “Cheese Curry Miso Ramen” with an awkward hand.

“Is he OK…? Did I make a mistake…?”

Regretting my choice for a few minutes, “Cheese Curry Miso Ramen” come!

I don’t know how to cook it, but the flavors of miso, curry and cheese married. It smells delicious!! Now having a bite…

“So yummy! They bring out each other!”

It tasted so delicious that I could say nothing! I drank to the dregs! Without the consideration that the strange naming and the newcomer’s awkward hand doubled the taste as gap inside me, it was wonderful

Hi everyone!

This is the 2nd report of “Wonfes”.
Now we would like to introduce…

The booth of Kotobukiya!! Kotobukiya would be popular Japanese figure manufacturer in the world. I think its figures are displayed outside Japan like U.S.
Followings are figures shown in the booth;

Hitagi Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari, Rei, Asuka and Mari from Evangelion were so popular that a lot of people stopped to see those figures. Some of them are on sale, and their details were elaborated.

And nother eye-catching exhibits were robot figures transformed into two-head figure. There are Gunbuster from “Aim for the Top!”, White Grint from “Armored Core”, Ingram 1 and Griffon from “Patlabor”. They are catching attention being not only adorable, but also cool!

In addition, deformed cute figures of Sengoku Basara’s characters which is a series of action video games set in feudal Japan were also displayed.

So many figures like above were exhibited in Wonfes!!
