Wonfes Report!! 1

Hi every one!
We would like to continue “Wonder Festival 2010 Summer” report introducing the booth of Black Rock Shooter.

“Black Rock Shooter” is now attracting Japanese anime fan’s attention so much that its special booth is constructed. Many magazines will introduce this series in the end of July, and events showing this animation will be held across the country including Akihabara in August.

This special booth wasn’t so big, but all visitors stopped to look at the exhibitions.

Above all, the visitors got caught up in some arts like following ones.

All of the arts were very dynamic and attractive. Isn’t this why “Black Rock Shooter” is so popular in Japan?

And its figures determined reselling and which will be released ahead were displayed.

Wonder Festival 2010 Summer!

Hi there!

Today, we would like to talk about “Wonder Festival 2010 Summer”, “Wonfes” for short held in Japan. This was a big event related to anime and figure which took place in Makuhari Messe in Chiba Pref on July 25, one of the largest domestic event sites. Wonfes is held in every summer and winter, and each year about 40,000 people participate. Also it is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Various kinds of people such as major figure and plastic model manufacturer, artist applying on an individual basis show their new figures and sell proud products. Of course, we can get limited products there.

We also participated in this event and will report with some photos from next time!

Akihabara Information 1 "UFO Catcher"

Hello there!
I’m Naganoya, in charge of writing this blog from this time.

There are many kinds of games in Akihabara’s game arcade, and today I’ve been addicted to crane machine game called “UFO catcher” in Japan.

This “UFO catcher” is to get prizes manipulating the button to control the claw. A lot of people give themselves over to this game for the prizes including the limited one. Recently some vendors specialize in creating prizes for only crane machines.

UFO catcher looks apparently simple, but actually it’s deep. It costs 100 yen to play one game, but there’s annoying system such we can play 5+1 games per 500 yen in most machines. And it’s so difficult that we can’t get a prize just for once.

What I tried to get was Shichibukai’s goods such as key case, CD case, etc., one of the “ONE PIECE” character, who is recognized by pirates. This time, I aimed at catching “Shichibukai Mini Backpack”! I had a craving for that, so put 500 yen and got 6 games!

Then, I could easily get it in my first game.
And with my first 500 yen, I got 3 prizes in all!! Wonderful!

“Today must be my lucky day! I could collect them all… Yes, I can!”

After that I put my 500 yen coin for 8 times, and eventually collected all 7 prizes for 4,500 yen! What a formidable magic Shichibukai has! So fascinating the UFO catcher is!

If you come across attractive prize of UFO catcher, it’s better to talk to clerk. Then the clerk would put the prize in a better position to catch it or teach you the ropes. There would be some arcades that its clerks don’t do that, but I think you should speak to them!

In my case, if I had talked to clerk, I could have got all 7 backpacks sooner. Being shy and shanty costs too much!

This is the second time to introduce Japanese anime talking about animated cartoon from popular TV game, “Sengoku Basara 2” aired from July 11.

In previous Sengoku Basara, Nobunaga Oda so-called “the Sixth Heavenly Devil King” went down in Azuchi Castle. The order of the time after Nobunaga come down is depicted in this second one. Although feudal warlords had aligned with each other, they gradually came to have wars in days. Just when the battle was being done between Yukimura Sanada said as the most powerful warlord and “the one-eyed dragon”, Masamune Date, another superpower warlord, Hideyoshi Toyotomi came out and the story began. It’s so exciting how the story flows!This Sengoku Basara is highly acclaimed series in Japan. Deadly techniques from stylish and appealing characters are awesome!!

In Japan, “Sengoku Basara 3” everyone including some of you anticipate will be released on July 29.

Alois is cupid set being abducted by someone and just coming back. He is very brutal and thinks of himself as being devoid of something. Alois is looking for the something missing, but can't find out. He intentionally makes trouble for others to take out his irritation. Under this situation, Claude, the butler gives Alois behind-the-scenes support. Claude has absolute loyalty to Alois and is capable in his job. Furthermore, he is so cool!
